I am a system designer who’s worked in games for ten years. Creating experiences that delight and challenge players is my passion. I’m an expert at making complex things feel simple, and building intuitive systems that increase product performance.
I currently work as a principal designer with Zynga and have previous experience with Outplay Entertainment and other studios in Scotland.
Experience
I currently work at Zynga as a principal designer. I’m working on feature and systems design on the Words with Friends suite, and previously worked on Harry Potter Puzzles and Spells.
I worked as a feature and level designer on Angry Birds Pop! at Outplay Entertainment in Scotland. I also worked on Pirate Puzzle Blast.
As a lead designer at Stand Out Games, I worked with Tag Games to design mobile game Crystal Maze, based on the popular UK game show.

Education
I studied Game Design and Project Management at the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland.
My thesis focused on influencing player decision making.
